Being ‘russ’ is a Norwegian tradition. The russ is the students who graduate from Upper Secondary School. We have our own clothes we wear (red pants, white coat and a red cap) and we have so much fun! We do the weirdest things and nobody question it! This is our last chance to be children.
We do all this weird things to gather ‘knots’ in the string on our hats. (Knots being several different tokens from all the different things we do). I sat under the desk during an entire school class. Then I could tie a rubber in my string. I also bathed in the ocean before April. That was COLD!! Not to be recomended!
Tomorrow I think we are going to sing to the teachers and play James Bond the entire day (sneak against walls and stuff). This is so fun!!
And of course we party. We do that a lot. There’s a lot of drinking and partying in this time.
